Birdhouse Blog

Now that Spring has supposedly sprung, it was time to move the bird feeders.  I moved the two main feeders to the back where they will be in a less travelled area.  It won't take long for the birds to find them.  You also get a better view of the back yard.

I've decided that I'd get rid of the guestbook was linked to this site.  So, now I have this blog thing. The posts prior to this one were from notes I made and are here for continuity.   I figure at least I can look back at it to remember just when I did all this stuff.  If people post comments on it - great! If not, okay.  This is all a learning experience for me.  I'm enjoying this and maybe it will all evolve into a pretty decent website.

I received my order of 2 new Hawk Eye cameras and immediately installed the camera in birdhouse #2. The house is located on the edge of the property, next to the old shed. Since I can only broadcast one birdhouse at a time, I have to keep an eye on both to see if there is any activity.
Winter hasn't loosened its grip on us yet and I haven't seen any new birds in the yard yet.

Birdhouse number 2

I built a second birdhouse today. I have an order for 2 more Hawk Eye cameras pending. The price at Backyard Chirper was reduced to under $50, so I figured I'd take advantage and get some. You can never have enough of these.
